Parkshore Main Dining Room Permanent Buffet Addition
Concept:
Create an action station that would provide an interactive, fun and unique dining experience for the community residents. Also considered the changing meal plans offered by Parkshore that would reduce the breakfast and lunch cover counts. Yet providing for the guaranteed meal plans to resident having resided there prior to 2013. Tables in Bistro area redesigned to create a unique seating area different from rest of dining room.
Process:
Build out a permanent buffet area in the rear of the Main Dining Room utilizing space that was not in regular use. Remove existing teak lattice wall covering and dark paint and replace with a “Bistro Style” ambiance and appearance. Utilize a newer approach to keeping foods hot and cold using cast iron serving containers, stainless teel pans and induction cookware. Menu to be an everchanging array of foods to create excitement and cooking to order. An antique hand cranked slicer to provided fresh sliced meats.
